LiDAR & Mobile Mapping

Home services LiDAR & Mobile Mapping

Airborne LiDAR Mapping brings unmatched efficiency and speed in gathering accurate geospatial data to support the asset management needs of various industries such as Municipalities, Power Generation & Distribution, Oil & Gas, Transportation (Roads & Rail Network), Architecture & Engineering and others. LiDAR is ideal for mapping the ground through forested landscapes as LiDAR pulses can capture ground and sub-canopy locations to record terrain details that are difficult to interpret from Airborne imagery.

TrueWorld 3D offers LiDAR data processing and feature extraction services with state of the art software tools and deep domain expertise in working with LiDAR datasets of varied point cloud densities (7ppm to 30 ppm) from different Airborne LiDAR sensors.

Our LiDAR Data Processing services include,

  • Point Cloud Classification (Building, Vegetation, Bridges, Water etc.,)
  • DTM, DEM and DSM Generation
  • Breakline & Contour Generation
  • Orthophoto Generation
  • 2D/3D Feature Extraction
  • Power Line Classification & Vectorization
  • Corridor Mapping (Roads, River & Rail Network Mapping)
Our Domain Expertise involves,
  • Urban Planning
  • Transport Corridor Mapping
  • Vegetation & Forestry Assessment
  • Topographic Assessment
  • Flood, Disaster and Resilience planning
  • Mine and Quarry Mapping
  • Infrastructure Mapping and Planning.

Mobile LiDAR

Mobile LiDAR is an advanced mapping solution that is designed to collect engineering/survey grade LiDAR data for Roadway assets and related Infrastructure quickly, accurately & cost effectively. Mobile LiDAR uses the most advanced LiDAR sensors, cameras & positioning systems to achieve accuracies better than 5 cm and it is possible to collect an unprecedented level of 3D detail for over 100 Km in a day from one vehicle fitted with the sensor.

Road & related Infrastructure features that we can capture include,
  • Lane Markings (road centrelines & crosswalks)
  • Street Furnishings (lampposts, traffic lights and traffic signs, benches, bike racks)
  • Sidewalks, Driveways & Curbs
  • Surface Utilities (electrical poles and pedestals)
  • Roadway survey points
  • Guardrail/High tension cable barrier alignment and post locations
  • Underside of bridge girders and supporting bridge columns
